FAQs

Can I come early?
Absolutely! Contact Lake Junaluska reservations to extend your trip earlier or later! Reservations: 800-222-4930

What if I don’t eat breakfast?
No problem. Breakfast in October is included in the room rate.

Can we hike to a waterfall?
Sure! There are a few in the general area. Soco Falls is paid entrance, but close. We can drive to no-fee access falls up to 90-minutes away near Brevard, which has dozens nearby. Plus, this time of year, it will be spectacular!

What will the weather be?
Crisp, cool/cold mornings and evenings and generally beautiful afternoons. Bring a jacket and heavy coat because it will be down-right cold on the mountain tops. Always bring a rain jacket.

Is there free-time?
This is a group-driven trip. Check the What’s App group for specific “chats” regarding the trip. We will pencil in group activities, but if you want to do something while you are in the area that is not a group activity, feel free. This is very unstructured and geared so you get from the trip what you want.
